Dr. Keith Reeves

Dr. Keith Reeves is an associate professor ] of political science and Faculty Director of the Center for Social and Policy Studies at Swarthmore College. Prior to his appointment at Swarthmore, he was an associate professor of public policy in the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He and his late twin brother, Kenneth, were born in Brooklyn, New York on April 23, 1966. They were raised in Chester, Pennsylvania. Along with his twin, Keith attended Chester public schools until 1982, when they both were accepted as ABC (A Better Chance) students at Westtown School. Keith was chosen as the class valedictorian and graduated with Kenneth from Westtown in 1984 and both enrolled at nearby Swarthmore College.

While at Swarthmore, Reeves studied at Exeter College at Oxford University, Oxford, England in the spring of 1987. Keith was graduated from Swarthmore College in 1988, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with the concentrations in Public Policy and Black Studies. He went on to attend the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and received his Ph.D. in political science in 1994. He, then, was invited to join the faculty at the Kennedy School at Harvard — and became the school’s youngest faculty member at that time.

John Yaworsky

John is a principal with Nimble Digital Media. He is a digital specialist, as well as a creative, technically savvy director/producer of film and video. With 25 years of traditional and new media production experience, John brings to bear proven visual messaging expertise, and helps clients develop and execute the right blend of tactics to achieve objectives across all screens and channels.

He began his career as a photographer and director of photography, and soon moved into producing and directing for film and video. John has been responsible for a wide range of projects, developing and overseeing creative treatments, as well as managing crews and budgets on feature films, commercials, and documentaries. John has produced for British Channel 4, Japanese NHK and German ZDF, PBS and other U.S. Networks. Additionally, he has consulted, produced and directed projects for major U.S. corporations including Abbott, Boeing BP, CDW and Groupon as well as Georgetown, Northwestern and Johns Hopkins Universities.
